Firewire's Custom Board Design (CBD) option lets you shape your own board, tweaking the width, nose, tail, and thickness. Using the online modeling app, I scaled up a 6'2" Dominator, giving it a wider tail and thicker belly to create the ultimate small-wave stick. (Hey, I live in North Carolina.) It arrived three months later, shaped to my exact specifications—and lived up to my high expectations. 5'2"–6'10".
