Embodying the trend toward wider, squatter shortboards, the Dwart is an impressive all-arounder. The 2.7-inch thickness and flat rocker of the six-footer we tested helped us stay on top of mushy waves, yet it came alive when the surf got large and hollow. You can set it up as either a quad-fin, for maximum maneuverability in lackluster conditions, or a tri-fin for better hold in bigger waves. 5'–6'6".
